Parish School of Religion/C.C.D.

C.C.D. begins on Sunday, September 16th at 9:20 A.M.   Classes last from 9:20 A.M. to 10:20 A.M.

Please register your child early. There will be no registration the first day of class. The fee for the year is $45.00.  A class schedule for the first half of the year will be given on the first day. How many grades we have will depend on how many volunteer teachers we have this year. Our immediate preparation for Confirmation program will begin in late October, 2018. If you have a teenager who is in their junior year of high school, Catholic or private, please contact me early to enroll your child for Confirmation classes. The cost will be only $20.00, to cover the cost of the book. We have a dynamic, new program this year. Our Confirmation will be held in May of 2018, and our Confirming Prelate is Archbishop Gregory Aymond. Contact me as soon as possible to enroll your child. God bless you.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.)

RCIA will begin on Wednesday, September 5th at 7:00 P.M and lasts till 8:15 P.M. Classes are held in the parish rectory. The subject for each session will be advertised in the bulletin and announced from the pulpit. Classes will last till 8:15 P.M. but sometimes will dismiss earlier. Schedules for the year will be given out at the first class. RCIA is process by which non-baptized candidates are received into the Catholic Church. Baptized members of other Christian denominations who wish to join the Catholic Church are not baptized again, but are received into the Church through the Sacrament of Penance, Profession of Faith, Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist.

There is no fee to attend R.C.I.A. All the materials are provided. A class schedule will be given out at the first meeting. To register, please take a registration form from the rear of the Church and bring it by or mail it to the parish office. For more information please contact Mr. Phillip Bellini. Adult Bible Study/Religious Education

Our new adult bible/religious education study will be “Miracles” by our D.R.E. Phillip Bellini. The classes will begin on Thursday, October 11th at 7:00 P.M. “Miracles” was written and will be presented by our DRE, Mr. Phillip Bellini. There will be five-one hour classes.  There will be NO fee for these five weeks. What is the theology of a miracle?  What is a true miracle? We will look at miracles in the Old Testament. We will then discuss the miracles of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the miracles of the Apostles.  We will take a look at the miracles that have been proclaimed through approved apparitions of Our Blessed Mother such as Guadalupe, Lourdes and Fatima. We will looks at several Eucharistic Miracles and the Shroud of Turin. We’ll also take a look at miracles worked through the intercession of the Saints.  So bookmark your calendar for October 11!
