St. Stephen Church is hosting the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima on Tuesday, December 13th beginning at 8:30 A.M. with our School Mass as part of the Fatima Centennial US Tour for Peace, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Fatima apparitions. There will be devotions throughout the day culminating with a Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament at 4:45 P.M., Benediction at 5:45 P.M. followed by Mass at 6:00 P.M. Apostolate Fair

Knights of Columbus Our area wide Knights of Columbus De La Salle Council 3411 offers a real, visible example of Catholic Charity in action.  Our chapter participates in many regularly scheduled service projects: they provide food and clothing to the needy, bring Holy Eucharist to shut-ins and schedule monthly service days at St. Henry and St. Stephen campuses to address maintenance issues, among other things. Open to men over 18 years of age, the KC are a great group that has fun as they serve the parish and wider community! Family Day

September 25, 2016 Getting Back to the Table! The dining table over the years has taken on a different purpose than originally designed. It has become the “dropping off zone” for assorted things coming into the house. When it’s time to eat, we grab a plate, get the comfortable place on the sofa and eat off a TV tray. Losing the dining table as a place to gather and share a meal as a family is not all that is lost. Spending quality time with one’s family, utilizing the time to share the experiences of the day, gives the family the opportunity to bond with one another. Annulment Writing Workshop

The Archdiocese of New Orleans will offer a writing workshop for persons seeking an annulment in the Catholic Church or for persons responding to an annulment. The workshop will be held in St. Mary Magdalen School in Metairie. The series will be for  five (5) Tuesdays, September 13, September 20, September 27, October 4 and October 11, 2016. From the Knights of Columbus On behalf of the Knights of Columbus Council, I want to thank Msgr. Nalty for allowing the Knights to conduct the Lenten Fish Fry at The Mother Pauline Center. Thanks to all the parishioners that came to the fish fry in support of our fund raising event. And to the volunteers who gave of their time and talents to prepare, cook and clean up for these meals: A HEARTY THANK YOU! We are truly blessed by the number of people who come forward to make these events the success that they are. Of the monies raised one-half will go to The K.C. Youth Expansion Program (YEP).
